A modern silver mounted Harrods mantel clock, the shaped form embossed with trailing foliage and forming a circular frame to the dial, the circular dial with Roman numerals and the clock within a wooden case with a small silver rectangular panel to the reverse. Mount hallmarked Sheffield 1990. Maximum height 6 1/2 inches (16.5cm).
The silver mount displays light wear and surface marks and scratches and there are also some small nicks and dints in the metal in places. There is some damage to one side of the base, a piece of wood has broken off behind the silver mount and subsequently the metal has folded over slightly on the corner. There is another piece of wood broken off the easel part of the reverse. Hallmarks on the silver are clear and legible.
