A French gilt metal mounted marble mantel clock garniture, in the Louis XVI taste circa 1900, the eight day outside countwheel bell striking movement with white enamel Arabic numeral dial decorated with floral garlands and signed ‘Legay Fils’ to centre, the case with twin putto and urn surmount over drum supported on bowed four Corinthian column arcade with side finials and draped with floral cast swags, the moulded marble shaped base with putto mount and four gilt toupe feet, 64cm high, the two urn side pieces with domed covers and ovoid reserves, each on three winged cherub head monopodia supports with circular base, each 36cm high.
