A French Enamel and Gilt Bronze Mantel Clock, Retailed by Alph. Giroux Paris,
19th century, depicting two putti in a Rococo shell chariot being drawn by two goats, the chariot wheel as the clock dial having enameled cartouche with Roman numeral hours, the whole on a naturalistic base above an enameled scene of playful putti, further supported on fruit laden vine feet.
Width 21 inches.
