A FRENCH BRASS MANTEL CLOCK, circa 1890, retailed by Riggs & Brother, Philadelphia. The rectangular clockcase with four glass panels, a front and back door opening to the enamelled face with arabic numerals, the reverse showing the works. The movement stamped MADE IN FRANCE and in a roundel AD MOUGIN/DEUX MEDAILLES. With original mercury pendulum and a later key, in working condition – 8 1/4 x 5 1/2 x 4 1/2 in.
