Mougin, Paris and Marseilles, Mantel Clock, fourth quarter 19th century, the gilt-brass-mounted and incise-carved polished black slate clock of modified temple form, the cresting centered with a serpentine-edged gilt-brass bas-relief plaque of two putti centering a vase of flowers, the sides with pilaster-form mounts featuring female masques, the interior backplate fully touchmarked, h. 20-5/8″, w. 19-3/8″.
