19th C, Victorian, mahogany cased, weight driven, clock by Charles Korfhage (NYC, 19th C), patented 1885, a swan neck pediment bonnet encases the works with a gilt accented face, seconds dial, subsidiary calendar dial with painted, rotating sun, farm, steamship scene, four different length sound tubes providing musical chimes, a gong chime, a retail brass plate at face center by “Mermod, Jaccard, & King Co., St., Louis” (paper tag by same company within), a presentation plate at inside of door ” Presented to my wife on her birthday, Nov. 23rd, 1905, Luther Robinson”; the case set with a single glazed door flanked by ribbed columns, the whole having applied Louis XVI style carving, raised on claw feet , 98″h x 24.5″w x 15.25″d
