R.J. Horner Figural Carved Oak Grandfather Clock. The case has full carved winged griffins with claw feet, on either side of a beveled glass door. Has quarter sawn grain with a good finish. The 3 weight time and strike movement and a moon phase dial, sub seconds dial and silvered chapter ring with applied brass numbers. Strikes the quarter hour on 5 coiled anvils; dial signed “Higgins & Seiter”. Movement runs and strikes. 93 H x 30 W x 18 D.
