An early 20th century Herschede Grandfather clock in a Mahogany Colonial Revival case, originally retailed by “Wright Kay & Co., Detroit-Paris”. 8-day, 3 train, weight driven movement with 1/4 hour strike on 9 “Crown Symphony” tubes, in either Westminster or Whittington chimes. Mahogany case with traditional broken arch pediment, spire finials, reeded columns on hood with shaped glass door, molded lower door has shaped beveled glass flanked by inset quarter columns, above a paneled base with applied moldings, all supported by Ball and Claw feet. 101″ high overall. Original finish with some wear. ESTIMATE $4,000-8,000
