GRANDFATHER CLOCK. Attributed to Ohio. The case is walnut and curly maple and has an old refinishing. Pine secondary wood. Turned feet with inset panels around the base. Chamfered corners with beaded edges on the overlapping door. The dovetailed bonnet has turned pilasters with broken arch crest. Glass has a crack. Wag on the wall brass works retains the original paint on the face with some chips and touch up. Signed on the back “R. Dury Carr” and has later signature on the face “Dury”. Restorations with some replacement to bonnet. Includes weights and pendulum. 95 1/4″h.
