This piece is truly unique!!! French Louis XV Grandfather clock (Circa 1770). The case was made of solid fruit wood and hand-carved. The clock movement was made of iron and brass (some parts were replaced)…it works very well. The front shows the “rooster”, important symbol, in France, in the 1700’s and 2 angels. It is an eight days clock, chimes the hours (twice) and half hour. Good condition(repair on front movement, see photo #1). For the shipping…don’t worry, we ship from Texas (not from France)!
