This French grandfather clock is truly unique!!! French Grandfather clock dated inside the case…"November, 12, 1841" (you can see on photo #4), made during the reign of French King Louis Philippe. The case was made of solid walnut wood. The clock movement was made of iron by Bergeon, clockmaker from the little town of Ambleville (Southwestern France, in Cognac region). For information, population of Ambleville in 1841: 460 inhabitants. The movement works very well. H: 108"/ w: 20.5"/ d: 10.25" Very good condition!
