Herschede Hall Clock Co. of Cincinnati Ohio Westminster Chime Grandfather Clock, with quarter hour chime and Westminster chime on the hour it has a 3 Key, 5 Tube, 29 1/2 Day Moon Phase, movement circa 1920. And bears the official Grand Prize winner of the (1915 World’s Fair) Panama Pacific International Exposition plaque. The clock bears a rich mahogany arch top 2 column, padded foot Empire revival case, hand painted castle scene 29 1/2 day moon face, silver tone dial, fancy Arabic numeral hour designations, complemented by lavish open work hands, ornate Victorian revival gold tone floral engraviour flanking the dial, original key for the case, original hand crank elbow key for the movement. The clock has a Chime – Silent functions marked on the dial. There is also some normal wear, however the brass weights and pendulum and nickel-chrome tubes are in good condition as is the case. The clock keeps good time, has a rich chime and is in excellent working condition and would make a superb addition to any fine household.
