NAPOLEON III DORE’ AND MARBLE FIGURAL PORTICO CLOCK, second half 19th century, in the Empire inspiration, the barrel form clock mounted on a shelf, the enameled dial with machine turned center and foliate detailed bezel, supported by a full relief eagle flanked by champagne urns, supported on patinated bronze figures of female holding aloft the shelf while standing on spheres, the marble stepped base with a frieze plaque depicting a classical court scene and foliate detailed banding, raised on short scroll feet with winged mermaids; 41-1/2 inch height; 22-1/2 inch length.
