French Figural Rembrandt Mantle Clock. Gilt bronze case with applied leafy decoration; topped with a figure of the artist Rembrandt seated at an easel painting a seascape. Silvered 3 in. dial with black Roman numerals, inset sub seconds dial, black open moon hands; French time only silk thread movement signed J. Charles, Paris and numbered 6263. In excellent condition. 13 in. high x 8 in. x 4 in.
