Federal Cherry and Figured Maple Tall Clock, James Cole, Rochester, New Hampshire, c. 1815, with fan-carved and line inlaid cresting, arched and glazed hood door over the 12 in. painted iron dial with floral spandrels signed James C. Cole Rochester., flanked by reeded freestanding columns, the flame birch veneered waist door flanked by reeded quarter-columns over the fan and line inlaid base, on cut-out feet with drop panel, eight-day time and strike skeletonized movement with rack and snail, recoil escapement, original steel hands (restoration), pendulum and two iron weights, ht. 91 in.
