Antique French Figural Mantle Clock,
ca. late 19th c., time and strike, brass movement, porcelain dial with Arabic numerals, hexagonal black marble casing topped with cast brass figure of Charlemagne standing beside a half-column upon which rests a scroll and a globus crucifer. – 18h x 10.75″ w x 5″ d – Lacking panel on one facet of the base, figure’s sword detatched and broken.
