Ansonia Figural Clock and Garniture Set, porcelain dial with open escapement, radial Roman numerals on chapter ring with outer minute ring marked with ticks. Brass time and strike spring driven movement marked Ansonia Clock Co. with patent dates of 1881 and 1882. In a figural, bronzed white metal bracket-form case with ornate rococo design, pierced basket-form crown with urn surmount, cast brass bezel with beveled cover glass, mounted on ebonized platform with rococo scrolled feet. Also mount to right on the same base is a bronzed white metal cavalier, 8.5″ x 19.5″ x 21.5″ high. Set includes a pair of associated garnitures also in the form of cavaliers, in bronzed metal, named on attached plates Conde and Vendome, on ebonized round bases, 20″ high each.

Condition report

Clean break to leg of figure, some enamel missing from base of clock, missing rear door, finish is oxidized on clock, currently running. We do not guarantee the working order of clocks.
