A RESTAURATION GILT BRONZE FIGURAL MANTLE CLOCK, second quarter 19th century, the circular pink porcelain dial with Roman chapters enclosing a conforming floral wreath above twin key escapements within an arched rectangular case above a mother with her child figural grouping beneath a draping curtain covered wall suspended by a lion’s mask and swans flanked by Egyptian heads mounted with caduceus and torches en flambeau on a bow-front plinth enclosing fruiting swags centered by circular medallions of classical maidens in profile. Height: 15 3/4″, width: 11 3/4″, depth: 8 1/2″.
