Fine 19th century crystal regulator retailed by Harris and Shafer company, Washington. It’s movement is signed Marti et Cie for the famous and highly regarded Paris maker Samuel Marti et Cie. The case is bronze set with beveled glass and decorated with panels of champleve’, two onyx columns. The bronze dial has a border of champleve enamel and hand painted numbers on custard glass or porcelain. The mercury pendulum is enameled as well. movement number is 4276 and 48. Measures 16 x 7.5 wide by 5.5 deep.
Condition report
fine condition noting old break and repair to each onyx column, otherwise very fine with limited wear. Good running condition.
