C.1975, Jim Davis, Greensboro, NC, miniature shelf acorn clock, walnut cased, with German 8-day movement.
Jim Davis was a rural postman outside Greensboro, and bought clocks at nearly every home in the area. When the old ones dried up he began copying them in mini configuration.
Condition: overall good original condition; movement ticks but appears to be very dirty. Tablet depicts a gentleman on horseback passing some city ildings and with 2 dogs. Height 12 inches.
