Beveled glass sides and front, bubble top with center cut to look into the brass mechanism, final Patent date of 1907, this Waterbury Clock Co measures some 5 3/4 inches tall including the handle, 3 inches wide by 2 1/2 inches deep. The alarm mechanism on the base makes this also a very unusual carriage clock. The clock mechanism needs cleaning before it will run, the front right side beveled glass is chipped in the upper right corner but easily useable. The face is enameled with some cracks around 12 and the lower left corner, there is the notation in the center of the face that states that this is a Jeweled Movement. The clock will run at an angle for several minutes before stopping, probably just needs cleaning.
