Superb example by Drocourt the highly regarded French maker of carriage clocks. The quality and grade are high – from the oval beveled top glass to the precisely painted dial with alarm setting indicator to the beautiful high grade double train movement with the serial number of 18,211. The case is heavy brass. The original key is present and this piece is in excellent running condition. The movement is signed with the maker’s mark. Measurements are 5.25 inches high by 3.75 wide by 3.25 inches deep. This is an outstanding piece.
