French. Made circa 1910. Fine, gilt brass, 8 day-going carriage clock. Accompanied by original travel case. C. Gilt brass, “corniche”, fluted pillars, glazed sides and back door, the top glazed to view the escapement, hinged carrying handle. D. White enamel with radial Roman numerals, outer minute divisions. Blued steel “spade” hands. M. Gilt brass, rectangular plates, four pillars, barrel for the going train, lateral lever escapement on a frosted gilt platform, cut bimetallic compensation balance, blued steel Breguet balance spring, index regulator. Dim. Height 7 cm., width 4.3 cm.
