Original excellent engraved gilt-brass case frame with green guilloche enamel panels and face. Possibly by Mathey-Tissot at Les Ponts-de-Martel in Neuchatel. This firm produced an extensive line of quality travel clocks at the turn of the century, and although numbered, they are not normally signed. Engraved with the retailer: Black, Starr & Frost, N.Y.
