French Brass 19th century carriage clock. The cased French brass carriage clock has beveled glass. The movement is marked “Made in France”. The beveled glass and body of the clock are in good condition. The striking mechanism with bell moves freely when wound, but most likely has a broken spring. The movement is over wound. The bell is at the bottom the clock. The clock is marked “Made in France” and “FS” on the back. Includes the original fitted box which is in bad condition and the brass key. Measures 5″ to the top of the handle and 2 ?” wide and 2″ deep.
