French 1 Hour Repeater Carriage Clock. Fine gold plated case with beaded trim on the edges, 2 in. silvered dial with black Roman numerals and blued hands, case has hinged handle and repeater button on top. Exposed silvered lever platform escapement, balance swings freely, 8 day repeater movement strikes on a single coiled gong; circa 1885. 6.5 in. high x 4 in. x 3.5 in.
