A French engraved gilt brass oval carriage clock, unsigned, late 19th century, the eight-day bell striking movement with replaced platform lever escapement, push-button repeat and circular white Roman numeral dial set into a foliate scroll engraved rectangular gilt mask, the case profusely engraved with foliate scrolls and geometric borders with scroll outline arch shaped hinged carrying handle above bevelled glasses and moulded plinth base, 14cm high with handle folded down.
