Victorian mahogany banjo clock, the front panel carved with acanthus leaves, c. 1850. Reglued finial. 38″ x 11 1/2″ x 4 1/4″

Condition report

Weight-driven, likely original weight, probably replaced pendulum. Movement is probably eight-day though not inspected closely. Original dial, very minor paint losses to edge, finial broken and reglued. Finish appears original, but the mahogany panels in the base and waist appear to be added, and the glass appears to have been replaced. Working order of the clocks in our auctions is not guaranteed.

It is our policy to disclose all the flaws and damage we have noted, however this is NOT a guaranteed auction. Please read our Terms of Sale, at www.ragoarts.com.
