Patent Timepiece or “Banjo” Clock, probably New Hampshire, with mahogany case, half rounded frames enclosing reverse-painted glasses, the lower depicting Aurora on her chariot pulled by winded horses, brass bezel over the painted iron dial, side ornaments, lower carved and gilded pediment and eight-day weight-driven timepiece movement with lead weight and pendulum, (repainted glasses, dial repainted Jan. 1914), ht. 40 in.

Condition: movement with cut-out on plates in the New Hampshire manner, side ornaments finely stamped “England”
