Patent Timepiece or “Banjo” Clock, attributed to George Hatch, Attleboro, Massachusetts, c. 1850, poplar case with half round frames enclosing black and gold glasses, painted zinc dial with Arabic numerals and marked Crane, lower pedestal and eight-day time-only movement with pendulum and weight, ht. 36 in.

Condition: case refinished, graining lost, lower pedestal added, evidence of a plinth at the top of the case.
