Mahogany Patent Timepiece or “Banjo” Clock, with gilded frames enclosing reverse-painted glasses, the lower depicting five ships in a sea battle, painted iron dial marked A. Willard Jr., eight-day time-only weight-powered movement with pendulum, ht. 42 in.

Condition: frames and glasses restored; dial is a replacement (winding hole for alarm and no alarm train in movement), dial not screwed on case. Movement faintly stamped “A. Stowell Charlestown”
