Mahogany Patent Timepiece or “Banjo” Clock, Massachusetts, with rope-molded frames enclosing reverse-painted glasses, the lower of a country scene, brass side ornaments flanking the waist section, brass bezel over the 7 1/2 in. painted iron dial inscribed Simon Willard, Boston, lower pedestal and eight-day time-only, weight-powered movement with pendulum, ht. 42 in.

Condition report

Condition: Dial is a probable replacement and has a modern painted back side with numerals and “Simon Willard, Boston”, lacking weight, cracked lower glass, replacement barbed hands.
