Mahogany Patent Timepiece or “Banjo” Clock, marked L. Curtis, Concord, Mass., painted iron dial with Roman numerals and signed L. Curtis, Concord, Mass., rope-molded gilt frames enclosing reverse-painted glasses, the lower depicting two sailing vessels, gilded pedestal below and eight-day time-only movement with iron weight and brass faced pendulum, ht. 39 in.
