Mahogany Patent Timepiece or “Banjo” Clock by Foster Campos, Pembroke, Massachusetts, c. 1975, with painted iron dial with Roman numerals and signed E. Howard & Co., Boston, flat veneered frames enclosing reverse-painted glasses, the throat glass depicting George Washington and the lower Mt. Vernon, brass bezel and side ornaments, carved lower pedestal and eight-day time only weight powered movement stamped Foster S. Campos, Pembroke, Mass., lead weight and pendulum, ht. 40 in.
