Mahogany Patent Timepiece or “Banjo” Clock, by E. Howard & Co., Boston, c. 1900, with carved wooden finial, brass bezel over the painted iron dial inscribed E. Howard & Co., Boston, gilded rope-molded frames enclosing reverse-painted glasses, waist flanked by brass side ornaments, lower gilded pedestal and eight-day brass movement stamped E. Howard & Co., Boston, with iron weight and pendulum, ht. 40 in.
