Mahogany Inlaid Patent Timepiece or “Banjo” Clock, Massachusetts, 19th century, the flat-beveled inlaid frames enclosing reverse-painted and gilt glasses, the throat glass with oak leaves and acorns, flanked by brass sidearms, the painted zinc dial and brass eight-day time-only movement, iron pendulum rod and brass bob, ht. 33 in.
