Early New England Weight Driven Banjo Clock: mahogany and mahogany veneer case with brass, weight driven movement and original 7 1/2″ dial. The name Russell is scratched on the inside of the center wood panel. That panel is held in palce by the original small square nails.

(It tries, but will not run steadily. The pendulum rubs on the metal in front of the weight. The upper glass is newer, the lower glass paint is newer. The bottom below the main case looks like a replacement.)
