Chelsea Patent Timepiece or “Banjo” Clock, Chelsea, Massachusetts, circa 1955, mahogany case with brass bezel over the painted iron dial with Arabic numerals and marked Chelsea in script, half round moldings framing reverse painted glasses, the throat with Federal shield, the lower depicting and marked Constitution and Guerriere, lower carved pedestal below the box and eight-day time and strike spring powered “house strike” movement, ht. 41 in.
