BANJO CLOCK. Probably New England, mahogany and pine. Acorn drop, acorn finial, and reverse-painted tablets, the lower depicts a marine scene with boats, the upper a vase with trailing vine. Weight-driven movement marked “WARRANTED” retains an older gilt surface. Tablets are replaced and cracked, other minor damage. 41 1/2″h. 10 3/4″w.
