The flaring throat with original verre eglomise panel with a gilt eagle over a foliate urn with makers name in a gilt scrolled banner, flanked by cut brass openwork struts over a box base with eglomise panel depicting the 1812 navel battle between the “Constitution” and “Guerriere”. The case stamped twice “12” to the inside on the case. 33″H, Circa – 1823-1850.
