(Apparatus) The Vanishing Alarm Clock. No hallmark, perhaps Petrie-Lewis ca. 1935. An unprepared alarm clock, after having been placed on the nickel tray, is covered with a handkerchief, and then hung by its ring on the hook of a handsome nickel stand. The magician then reaches beneath the handkerchief and sets off the alarm. While it is still ringing, the handkerchief is jerked from the hook, the alarm instantly ceases ringing, and the clock has mysteriously vanished. Condition excellent.
