Sidney Advertising Country Store Regulator Clock, 8 day, spring driven, 12″ calendar dial and time and calendar movement. Clock has a separate lower movement that rotates bottom 3 advertising cylinders every few minutes as well as ring a bell. Old tobacco ads in the top crest and original glass in the door with gold leaf nickel silver mother of pearl ads. Original old numerous ads in the bottom are old with Harness, Livery, Saddle Shops, Under Taker and Embalmer along with several recent replica adds. There are old trade Cards in the lower glass. Instruction label inside lower movement original with new main spring, clock dial original with Everitts Standard time. This is a hard to find clock in this good of condition. Circa. 1880’s.
