This model was called the Saranac, named after the river that abounded the factory in Plattsburgh. It was advertised with a rosewood or oak finish. Never saying it was made of paper mache. It was produced without advertising to increase sales and reach customers who wanted a nice decorative clock in their home. This clock is in pristine condition with excellent patina. Pictured on page 147 of “Baird Advertising Clocks” by Jerry Maltz. 30 – 1/2″ x 18 – 1/2″ & 12″ paper dial. (Near Mint).
